On January 22, it was learned from Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone that recently, the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment released the second batch of low-carbon (near-zero carbon emissions) demonstration construction units, and a total of 6 enterprises and parks in the city were selected. Among them, 3 enterprises in Tianjin Economic Development Zone were selected.

Up to now, a total of 4 enterprises in Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone have been approved as municipal low-carbon (near-zero carbon emission) demonstration construction units, ranking first in Tianjin Binhai New Area and all districts in the city, and the green and low-carbon development of Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone has achieved remarkable results.

The Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment has carried out a number of low-carbon (near-zero carbon emission) demonstration constructions, deepened the green and low-carbon concept of various regions, enterprises and the public, actively advocated green and low-carbon production and lifestyle, and promoted Tianjin to achieve the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. Tianjin's low-carbon (near-zero carbon emissions) demonstration construction (hereinafter referred to as the demonstration construction) adopts the "1+N" model, that is, "1" is the administrative area, and "N" is a number of key areas, the administrative area includes district-level administrative districts, functional areas, towns, business districts and other comprehensive areas, and the key areas include individual categories such as buildings, enterprises, industrial parks, and communities. The selected units have significant advantages in the basic conditions, technical advantages, emission reduction potential, organization and management of green and low-carbon construction, and have exemplary significance for green and low-carbon construction in key areas of our city.
