Binzhou successfully held the first "zero carbon" conference

The "zero carbon" conference, also known as the "carbon neutrality" conference, refers to the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions directly or indirectly generated during the conference by planting trees, purchasing carbon quotas, carbon credits, carbon sinks, energy conservation and emission reduction, etc., so as to achieve the goal of zero net greenhouse gas emissions of the conference.

The Ecological Environment Bureau of Binzhou City, Shandong Province has thoroughly implemented the "dual carbon" strategy and actively promoted the concept of "zero carbon" conference to take root and bear fruit. The carbon dioxide emission equivalent measured at this meeting was 7.338 tons, and through the purchase and cancellation of 10 tons of VCUs, the conference truly achieved "carbon neutrality" and was issued a "carbon neutrality" certificate. This is also Binzhou's first conference "carbon neutrality" certificate.
