Rio Tinto has approved new solar farms and battery storage facilities as part of its decarbonisation strategy

On December 3, it was reported that Rio Tinto approved a new solar farm and battery storage facilities to provide renewable energy for its Amrun bauxite operation in Cape York. This is part of Rio Tinto's decarbonization strategy.
