The 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services is being held in Beijing. One of the highlights of this year's CIFTIS is the advocacy of comprehensive green transformation. From "urban pipes made of bamboo" to "smart stations using modular low-carbon building methods", a number of exhibition areas focused on the theme of "green and low-carbon", showcasing various latest achievements and technology applications, contributing to the realization of the goal of carbon neutrality. Scientific and technological innovation brings more possibilities for green and low-carbon development. Nowadays, traditional service trade represented by transportation services and building services is transforming from a high-emission, high-pollution, and high-energy-consumption mode to a green, low-carbon, and energy-saving direction. Many construction companies have promoted the transformation of the industry to green and intelligent through the use of low-carbon materials, green construction, green design and other methods.

In the CIFTIS exhibition area, a "smart station" attracted many visitors, part of the station is an intelligent public toilet, and the other part is a commercial space that can be arbitrarily superimposed with different modules.

Ding Chen, commercial director of Sichuan Travel Fa Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., introduced that the "smart station" adopts domestic advanced water-saving and electricity-saving technology, and a single station can save 200 tons of water per year and reduce annual comprehensive carbon emissions by 400 tons.

"We have photovoltaic power generation on top of this device, which can be used for energy storage." Smart station' is an upgrade equipment of traditional public toilets, the difference is that the production cycle is faster, the landing time is shorter, it only takes 6 hours to land the equipment by hoisting, complete the assembly and debugging and meet the use standard. ”

China's energy-saving and environmental protection ice-making technology goes to the world

在Sports Services Pavilion最“寒冷冻人”的一个区域，不少人正在热火朝天地体验冰壶运动。冰壶项目的制冰有很高的技术门槛，冰面的温度改变0.1度，都会间接影响冰壶的走向。而通过北京冬奥会的历练，我国制冰企业的技术能力有了不小的飞跃。艾尔豪斯制冷总工程师魏一伦说，目前我国可以提供节能环保的制冰方案，不仅能为国内新建冰场提供服务，还瞄准了国外的项目。

With the increasing attention of the international community to green development, environmental protection, "dual carbon" and other issues, the total amount and proportion of green development of service trade have shown a steady increase.

The warm "black technology" superimposed materials that appeared at the CIFTIS for the fourth time also grew with the development of service trade. Zhong Feipeng, chief scientist of Beijing Superposition Technology Co., Ltd., introduced that this new material integrates scientific and technological achievements such as molecular superposition, functional superposition, and multidisciplinary superposition, and the clothing made has warmth, breathability, antibacterial, environmental protection and other properties.

"In 2020, I participated in CIFTIS for the first time, and no one knew about the superimposed materials, and in the past three years, through the CIFTIS platform, superimposed forms have been widely used in related fields. It is hoped that low-carbon and environmentally friendly new materials can empower a better life. ”‍

At present, green and low-carbon have been integrated into various fields and links of service trade, and the discussion of related topics at this year's service trade fair is more diverse.

Zhou Liang, deputy director of the State Financial Regulatory Administration, said at the 2023 China International Finance Annual Forum that China's banking and insurance industry should accelerate the development of green finance, enrich the green financial system, accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation of related industries, and increase financial support for renewable energy, green manufacturing, green buildings, green transportation and other fields.

数据显示，今年上半年，我国服务贸易继续保持增长态势，服务进出口总额达3.1万亿元人民币，同比增长8.5%，服务贸易发展的质量和竞争力进一步提升。商务部部长助理陈春江表示，我国服务贸易显示出较强的发展韧性，数字化、绿色化“双轮驱动”Innovative development of trade in services。

“当前，随着外部需求减弱、风险挑战增多、规则竞争突显，我国服务贸易发展仍面临一定压力和挑战。但是，我国服务业基础不断夯实，服务领域对外开放持续深化，数字化、绿色化‘双轮驱动’Innovative development of trade in services，有利因素在不断积累。预计，全年服务进出口规模将保持增长，贸易结构将持续优化。”
