Explore the conversion path through the GEP accounting pilot
In terms of ecological value transformation, Guangxi has been exploring new ways in recent years. Among them, the main approach is to incorporate the "Guangxi County Gross Ecosystem Gross Product (GEP) Accounting Pilot" and "Pilot County Ecological Product Value Realization Direction and Path Exploration Research Based on GEP Accounting Results" into the reform task, and to obtain the "National Ecological Civilization Demonstration Zone" and "Two Mountains Base" as the pilot areas to carry out the exploration of GEP accounting pilot research work, and build an ecological product value accounting system with a total of 15 functional indicators including material product supply, regulation function and cultural function. Rong County and Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County were used as pilot areas to explore the pilot research of GEP accounting. For the first time, the GEP of Rong County in 2020 was 155.422 billion yuan, and the GEP of Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County in 2020 was 180.328 billion yuan. Based on the results of the GEP accounting pilot, the direction and path of realizing the value of ecological products with the characteristics of Rong County and Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County have been scientifically condensed, which have been applied to various works in Rong County and Jinxiu County, effectively promoting the positive synergy of high-level protection and high-quality development in the pilot counties, and enhancing the "gold content" of economic and social development in Guangxi counties with ecological "green content".
Realize the value transformation of ecological products through the EOD model
Through the eco-environment-oriented development (EOD) model, the EOD project reserve is established, and loans from financial institutions are obtained for ecological value construction. We will create a pilot project for climate investment and financing in Liuzhou to achieve synergy between the value transformation of ecological products and the reduction of pollution and carbon emissions.

Realize value through climate investment and financing pilots to reduce pollution and carbon emissions
In 2023, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will strictly approve high-carbon emission EIA projects, and promote 24 "two high" projects in non-ferrous metals, steel, cement and other industries to carry out carbon emission impact assessments in EIAs. Liuzhou's national climate investment and financing pilot has achieved initial results, and the Liuzhou Climate Investment and Financing Forum has been successfully held. 19,757 enterprises have registered through the "Green Liutong" green finance comprehensive platform, 10,563 enterprises have received financing, and 67.788 billion yuan of bank credit has been obtained, with a total financing of 42.661 billion yuan.
In addition, relevant units have also been organized to actively participate in the construction of the national carbon emission trading market, and 51 key emitting enterprises in the region have been included in the list of key greenhouse gas emissions in the power generation industry in 2023.
