Yunnan Provincial Service Center for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises organizes enterprises to participate in Sino-Italian industrial energy efficiency capacity building and experience exchange activities

In order to promote the improvement of industrial energy efficiency in the province, from November 15 to 19, 2021, the Yunnan Provincial Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Service Center organized 16 representatives of relevant key energy-using industrial enterprises, energy-saving service institutions, industry associations and other units in the province to participate in the online exchange of industrial energy efficiency capacity building and experience jointly organized by the SME Development Promotion Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and the Politecnico di Milano, Italy.

During the event, Professor Mario Motta, Professor Matteo Zanchi and Professor Enrico Cagno from the Politecnico di Milano in Italy systematically introduced the EU's roadmap for energy conservation and emission reduction by 2050 and the emission reduction challenges of energy-intensive industries to the delegates through theoretical interpretation, case analysis, interactive Q&A. Future technology scenarios and innovation policies and incentive mechanisms for the development of Italy's industrial sector in 2050, advanced energy-saving technologies and energy efficiency improvement strategic measures for key energy-using industries in Italy (steel, cement, chemicals, plastics, papermaking, etc.), as well as cogeneration technologies and their applications, factory refrigeration and heat pump treatment systems, industrial energy efficiency assessments, energy efficiency management systems, energy efficiency analysis tools, etc.

Through the activities, the participants learned the advanced experience and successful practices of the EU and Italy in industrial energy efficiency improvement, comprehensive utilization of resources and environmental protection, expanded their international vision, deepened their understanding and awareness of industrial energy efficiency, and played a positive role in promoting the follow-up energy conservation and carbon reduction work of enterprises. On December 15, 2021, the certificate of completion issued by Giuliano Noci, the leader of the Politecnico di Milano in Italy, was sent to the Yunnan Provincial Service Center for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, and the provincial center will then forward them to the Yunnan training representatives one by one.
