The pilot results of carbon emission environmental impact assessment of coal chemical and coal power industry construction projects in our province have begun to appear

In accordance with the Ministry of Ecology and Environment's work deployment on carrying out the pilot of carbon emission environmental impact assessment of key industry construction projects and the requirements of the provincial department issued the "Technical Guidelines for Carbon Emission Environmental Impact Assessment of Construction Projects in Shaanxi Province Coal Chemical and Coal Power Industry (Trial)", this year, under the guidance of the Environmental Impact Assessment Office, the Provincial Environmental Investigation and Assessment Center has formulated the standards and methods for evaluating the carbon emission level of the coal chemical and coal power industry in our province and the carbon emission measurement method through pilot research, and formed a research report to submit to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.

In March this year, the investigation and evaluation center organized a seminar on the benchmark value and accounting methods of carbon emissions in the coal chemical and coal power industry in our province, determined the list of enterprises in the carbon emission level survey of the coal chemical and coal power industry in our province, and clarified the investigation and accounting of the current level of carbon emissions with major products such as coal to methanol and olefins as the boundary It has unified and standardized the sources of the main parameters of carbon emission calculation, improved the carbon emission measurement method of the coal chemical and coal power industry in our province, and formulated a detailed pilot program. In May, the "Research Report on the Evaluation Standards and Methods of Carbon Emission Level and Carbon Emission Measurement Methods of Shaanxi Coal Chemical and Coal Power Industry" was compiled.

In July, the Investigation and Evaluation Center cooperated with the Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment to investigate the filling and docking of pollution and carbon reduction index data of coal chemical industry enterprises in Yulin City, and provided certain data support for the research and formulation of the benchmark group standard for pollution reduction and carbon emission reduction in the coal chemical industry in our province with the pilot results.
