This year, Diaoyuan Ancient Village Scenic Area won the first "Scenic Area Carbon Neutrality" certificate in Jiangxi Province, becoming the first "Carbon Neutral Scenic Area" in the province.

Wei Shixiao, the person in charge of Diaoyuan Ancient Village Scenic Area, introduced that Diaoyuan Ancient Village Scenic Area invited professional institutions to calculate the carbon emissions generated by fossil fuel combustion, electricity consumption, conference affairs, and employee commuting in the scenic spot in 2022, and the 709 tons of carbon emissions generated were carbon neutralized through the "Jiangxi Provincial Carbon Neutrality Platform" to purchase the emission reduction of forestry carbon sink projects, with a total emission reduction of 710 tons of carbon dioxide to achieve the "zero emission" goal of the scenic spot.
