According to the information provided by Xinjiang Electric Power Trading Center Co., Ltd., up to now, Xinjiang Electric Power Trading Center Co., Ltd. has organized 1.46 billion kilowatt-hours of green electricity trading and 1.69 million green certificate transactions this year, which are 50 times and 5.6 times the scale of last year, and the number of power generation enterprises and power users participating in the transaction has reached 178, a year-on-year increase of 790%, and the scale of green electricity and green certificate transactions has hit a new high, and the awareness of green power consumption of power users has been greatly improved.
As the country's "three bases and one channel", Xinjiang has abundant renewable energy resources such as wind and solar energy. In recent years, the autonomous region has continuously introduced and improved relevant policies to promote the development of renewable energy, support the development and utilization of renewable energy, promote the coordinated development of the industrial chain, and provide strong policy support and market environment for enterprises. At the same time, it served the first government agency in Xinjiang to achieve all-green electricity supply. State Grid Changji Power Supply Co., Ltd. actively serves the green energy demand of the Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture Development and Reform Commission, analyzes in detail the characteristics of the electricity tariff of the office building of the Changji Development and Reform Commission in the past two years, provides "one-stop" services such as market entry, registration and trading, and helps the Changji Development and Reform Commission to supply all green electricity in the office building in 2023 through a combination of green electricity trading and green certificate trading.
It is reported that this year, the Development and Reform Commission of Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture has participated in a total of 7,000 kWh of green electricity trading and purchased 100 green certificates, becoming the first local government agency in Xinjiang to supply 100% green electricity for office buildings. This green power consumption is expected to reduce the consumption of standard coal by about 32 tons, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 87 tons, and reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by about 0.28 tons.
