On June 1, the 300 MW wind power project of the Renewable Energy Replacement Project of the State Power Investment Corporation Baiyinhua Self-contained Power Plant in Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia and the 50 MW wind power project for full voluntary self-use were approved and approved. After the project is put into operation, it can deliver 1.2 billion kilowatt-hours of clean energy every year, with a comprehensive utilization rate of 99.89%.
Baiyinhua's self-contained power plant is affiliated to the Inner Mongolia Company of the State Power Investment Corporation. It has completed and put into operation a 2× 350,000 kilowatt supercritical direct air-cooled coal-fired heating generating unit and a 205 MW new energy installed capacity. After this batch of projects is put into operation, the installed new energy capacity of the plant will reach 555 MW, accounting for 48% of the total installed power capacity.

Why "green" aluminum liquid? How can aluminum industry become a "green industry"? The answer is to use clean energy. "All clean energy generated by the power plant's new energy projects is consumed in the aluminum plant, increasing the proportion of 'green electricity' electricity consumption in the aluminum plant to 23.5%." said Liu Kun, general manager of Bai Yinhua Aluminum and Electric Company.
Green is the background color of clean energy, and it is also the development "gene" of high-energy-consuming electrolytic aluminum enterprises. On May 28, Baiyinhua Aluminum and Electric Company's 2500 tons of "Green Electric Aluminum Remelting Aluminum Ingot" and the first batch of 2500 tons of electrolytic primary aluminum liquid successfully passed the certification of the Green Product Evaluation Center of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and obtained the "Green Electric Aluminum Product Evaluation Certificate".
"'Green electricity 'allows electrolytic aluminum companies to greatly reduce their carbon emissions during product production, thus having a' carbon footprint 'certification, which not only promotes the company's own green and low-carbon development, but also meets the low-carbon needs of end users." said Liu Yingjian, deputy general manager of Bai Yinhua Aluminum and Electric Company.
It is reported that Baiyinhua Aluminum Power Company consumes all clean energy generated by the power plant, saving about 350,000 tons of standard coal every year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 960,000 tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by 96 tons, and nitrogen oxide emissions by 155 tons.
The continuous improvement of the ecological environment has attracted a group of nature "environmental assessment engineers". Groups of swans, red geese, white storks and other wild animals inhabit the seasonal lake of Baiyinhua open-pit mine, enjoying the early summer sunshine.
In recent years, Baiyinhua Open-pit Mine has focused on the construction of green mines and has invested 336 million yuan in improving the ecological environment of the Kuangqu. So far, the green area of the Kuangqu has reached 11278 acres. After becoming the first standardization pilot in the field of green mine construction in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, it is expected to invest 40 million yuan this year to continue to promote the standardization of green mine services.
"We analyzed the energy consumption of the entire mine in conjunction with the construction of smart mines, improved the standardization of on-site operations, actively promoted the process of large-scale intermittent process equipment, and adopted the method of replacing oil with electricity to achieve high-standard energy conservation and emission reduction in open-pit mines. The overall energy consumption showed a downward trend." Yu Yabo, director of Bai Yinhua open-pit mine, introduced.
