Recently, the Shanghai Baoshan District Green and Low-Carbon Sustainable Development Center was inaugurated in Baoshan High-tech Zone, providing enterprises with one-stop green and low-carbon solutions, helping enterprises achieve green transformation and development, and further empowering the construction of Baoshan green and low-carbon transformation model area and green and low-carbon supply chain core functional area.
It is understood that the Baoshan Green and Low-Carbon Sustainable Development Center was jointly established by Baoshan High-tech Zone and Bureau Veritas. Combining the advantages of Baoshan High-tech Zone in terms of industry, region, and policy, as well as the international resources of Bureau Veritas, the center provides local enterprises with a full range of green and low-carbon solutions such as energy efficiency transformation, carbon accounting, and carbon neutrality declaration through the introduction of low-carbon management concepts, standards and services, covering one-stop solutions for green development of service enterprises, zero-carbon product planning and certification, green factory certification, energy management and other conventional systems, so as to promote enterprises to achieve green transformation and improve the energy level of regional industries.
At present, Baoshan District is building a green and low-carbon supply chain system, which needs to gather a large number of chain master enterprises and related professional service institutions. The president of the Baoshan District Development and Reform Research Institute said that Baoshan District has a number of high-quality local enterprises as the foundation, and now the establishment of a green and low-carbon sustainable development center can introduce more professional capabilities and more authoritative institutions into Baoshan District and launch Baoshan's green and low-carbon brand.
