"Huangpu Forum on High-quality Development of Green Industry" was held

On January 17, the "Huangpu Forum on High-quality Development of Green Industry" and the fourth meeting of the first general meeting of Guangzhou Huangpu District Ecological Environment Industry Association were held.

Gu Xiaobin, deputy director of the Guangzhou Development District Management Committee, mentioned in his speech at the conference that in the process of promoting the high-end, intelligent and green development of the manufacturing industry, the competent departments of various industries, as the promoters of green development, should fully understand the importance of the high-quality development of green industries, take the promotion of green development as an important task, conduct in-depth investigation and research on new topics such as the development of low-carbon economy, circular economy, green economy and promote independent innovation, work hard, and actively contribute to the development of Huangpu's green economy. As the executor of green development, enterprises should have a world vision and strategic vision, consciously assume the major responsibility of developing green economy, effectively integrate the concept of green, environmental protection and safety into all aspects of product research and development, production and marketing, actively change production methods, promote the formation of a high-end, low-carbon and ecological green industrial system, build a green industry brand in Huangpu District, and make green industry a new driving force to promote the better and faster economic and social development of Huangpu District. As a bridge to promote green development, industry associations should effectively play the role of "policy promoter", "industry leader" and "market coordinator", actively cooperate with the competent departments of various industries to advocate and implement various policies, promote the green transformation and upgrading of enterprises, continue to integrate industry resources, and lead the development of green industries through technical exchanges, innovation and market development.

The "Huangpu Forum on High-quality Development of Green Industries" invited experts from the Industrial Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization Department of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, the Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, the Institute of Energy Conversion, the Bay Area (Guangzhou) Institute of Ecology and Environmental Protection, and the Property and Behavior Tax Section of the Guangzhou Huangpu District (Development Zone) Taxation Bureau to interpret hot topics such as the green and low-carbon development policies of industrial enterprises, the green and low-carbon transformation of enterprises, the latest progress and policies of the national voluntary emission reduction carbon market, and the preferential green tax policies of Huangpu District. At the same time, a number of banks were invited to introduce the latest green financial product solutions to the participants.

Li Yingsheng, director of the Huangpu Branch of the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, said in his concluding speech at the forum that enterprises in various industries in the jurisdiction should consciously be the "spokesperson" of Huangpu District, take the initiative to publicize the green development achievements and policies of Huangpu District, attract more enterprises to Huangpu, and help the creation of the practice and innovation base of "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" to build a beautiful Huangpu. The Huangpu District Ecological Environment Industry Association needs to further expand the "circle of friends", increase resource development, strengthen the green development team, strengthen member services, and contribute to the high-quality development of green industries and high-level environmental protection in Huangpu District.

At the conference, Liu Lu, President of Guangzhou Huangpu District Ecological Environment Industry Association, made the 2023 annual work report of the association, and the association took the in-depth implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China as the main line, adhered to the concept of "co-construction, co-governance, and sharing", and all work has achieved results. In 2024, with a higher sense of responsibility and mission, we will forge ahead and innovate, help create a new situation of green industry in Huangpu District, promote green development and ecological construction in the new era, and contribute to building a beautiful Huangpu where man and nature coexist in harmony.

On the same day, the 4th "Green Industry, I am an Actor" activity in Huangpu District, guided by the Huangpu Branch of the Guangzhou Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau and sponsored by the Guangzhou Huangpu District Ecological Environment Industry Association, was successfully held.

At the first stop of the event, Guangqi Honda Co., Ltd., representatives of the company visited the vehicle workshop, the enterprise environmental laboratory and the coating environment innovation research base. At the second stop, the Guangzhou branch of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, the delegates visited the Oil Refining Ecological Park, the control room of the oil refining center, and the Nanyue Pearl Cultural Exhibition Hall.

According to reports, the "Green Industry, I am an Actor" activity in Huangpu District is a brand engineering activity created by the Guangzhou Huangpu District Ecological Environment Industry Association in March 2023, and has been successfully held for four times.

In the next step, Guangzhou Huangpu District Ecological Environment Industry Association will continue to integrate the resources of other enterprises in Huangpu District, encourage and promote enterprises with relatively complete environmental protection facilities in the district to open up to the society, improve the opening effect of ecological environment facilities, and strive to form a number of multi-category and colorful green industrial resources, and enhance the social recognition of green industries in Huangpu District.
