According to reports, the "Yong Yi Collection" applet can not only provide users with convenient and flexible "self-service delivery" channels, but also provide efficient and convenient "appointment recycling" services. Residents can get the corresponding environmental protection points on the "Yong Easy Collection" mini program and exchange them for cash by putting the recyclables generated by the family into the self-service recycling station for waste materials. This incentive mechanism fully mobilizes the enthusiasm of residents to participate in the recycling of waste materials.

"At present, we have set up more than 300 recycling stations in schools, residential areas, party and government office areas and enterprise office areas in the main urban area of Nanning City to provide residents with convenient delivery services for waste materials, and this year we will promote this model in Nanning to the whole district." "The first step for used household appliances to come to the factory is to conduct product quality inspections. We affix an 'ID card' to each used household appliance to facilitate the traceability of the product during the subsequent dismantling process. Jiang Yanhua, deputy manager of the environmental protection information department of Guangxi Guiwu Renewable Resources Co., Ltd., introduced.

Waste household appliances with "ID cards" are stored according to categories, and are standardized and refined dismantled on each production line. Workers properly dispose of the harmful substances such as phosphor, mercury and lead contained in the products, classify and store the available resources such as steel, iron, aluminum, copper, glass and rare precious metals that have been dismantled, and provide them to downstream manufacturers in demand for reprocessing, so as to truly turn waste into treasure and make the best use of it.

"Every day, the factory can process more than 4,000 used appliances. The product utilization rate of these waste items can reach more than 98%, which is conducive to reducing the society's dependence on mineral resources and reducing the energy consumption and carbon emissions from minerals to processing into raw materials. Jiang Yanhua said.

The resource utilization of solid waste is a useful exploration for Nanning to promote the construction of a "zero-waste city". Since it was selected as a pilot project for the construction of a national "zero-waste city" in April 2022, Nanning has steadily promoted the construction of a "zero-waste city", completed and operated the first phase of the domestic waste clean incineration power plant in Nanning Shuangding Circular Economy Industrial Park, with a domestic waste incineration treatment capacity of 4,250 tons per day in the urban area, and initially achieved zero landfill of primary waste in built-up areas; Completed the construction of the upgrading and reconstruction project of the Guangxi Solid Waste Disposal Center Project, increasing the centralized disposal capacity of medical waste from 57 tons/day to 115 tons/day, and disposing of 100% of medical waste safely; The sludge of the county and township sewage treatment plants is disposed of in a centralized manner, and the harmless disposal rate of sludge is maintained at 100%.

In March 2023, Nanning issued an implementation plan, clarifying that by 2025, Nanning will gradually realize a steady decline in the intensity of industrial solid waste, domestic waste, construction waste and agricultural waste, and greatly increase the level and proportion of comprehensive utilization, and basically realize the "one network" of information services and management information for the generation, collection, transportation, utilization and disposal of solid waste.

Liu Baoqing, Chief of the Solid Waste and Chemicals Section of the Nanning Ecological Environment Bureau, said that through the full implementation of green development and green lifestyle, Nanning's "waste-free cells" have been continuously activated, and in the future, it will focus on reducing the pressure of industrial solid waste disposal, improving the comprehensive utilization level of major agricultural solid waste, promoting the reduction and recycling of solid waste from domestic sources, and promoting the comprehensive utilization of construction waste.
