Guangxi: Adhere to green development and polish the ecological background

Since the beginning of this year, Guangxi has continued to promote clean and low-carbon transformation in the fields of industry, construction, and transportation, and unswervingly followed a high-quality development path that prioritizes ecology and is green and low-carbon.

In the factory area of Guangxi Guiwu Recycling Industry Group, waste household appliances are standardized and refined dismantled on a dismantling production line, and the dismantled renewable resources such as steel, iron, aluminum, and copper are classified and stored, and will be provided to downstream manufacturers in demand for reprocessing, so as to realize "turning waste into treasure".

At present, Nanning, Liuzhou and Guilin, three districted cities, have issued implementation plans for the construction of "zero-waste cities" during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. By 2025, Nanning will gradually realize a steady decline in the intensity of industrial solid waste, domestic waste, construction waste and agricultural waste, with obvious synergistic effects in pollution reduction and carbon reduction, and basically realize the "one network" of information services and management information for the generation, collection, transportation, utilization and disposal of solid waste.

In the first half of this year, the Autonomous Region's Department of Ecology and Environment guided 24 "two high" projects in the non-ferrous metals, steel, cement and other industries to carry out carbon emission impact assessments in environmental impact assessments. Liuzhou's national climate investment and financing pilot has achieved initial results, with a total financing of 39.915 billion yuan from the green finance comprehensive service platform, and Liuzhou's ecological and environmental protection experience and practices have been selected as one of the 31 places in the country that have achieved remarkable results in the field of ecological environment, and have been commended and promoted by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. The proportion of days with good ambient air quality in the whole region has reached 96.8%, and the quality of the ecological environment continues to rank among the top in the country.
