Combined with the existing industrial foundation and industry development trend, Taiyuan focuses on the construction of "an important carrier of national advanced manufacturing industry", focuses on the "100 trillion yuan" project of high-quality industrial development, and creates a "1233" key industrial chain development system of "one high, two first, three special and three new", and 9 key industrial chains bring new development potential energy to Taiyuan manufacturing.

As the first medium-sized hub "zero-carbon airport" project in the field of civil aviation in China, the third phase of the reconstruction and expansion project of Taiyuan Wusu International Airport runs the "double carbon" concept through all aspects of design, construction and operation: the T3 terminal is designed in accordance with the three-star green building standard, and all the buildings are made of energy-saving insulation materials to reduce heat conduction; nearly 30 geothermal wells use geothermal resources under more than 2,000 meters of stratum to solve the heating needs of the airport; and photovoltaic power generation panels have realized "full installation...... The ultimate goal of a "zero-carbon airport" is not only to meet the energy needs of the airport, but also to export green energy to the surrounding residents.
