Henan Linzhou steel enterprises completed the ultra-low emission transformation

Linzhou City is an important steel industry base in Henan Province, with a long-term iron and steel enterprise of Henan Fengbao Special Steel Co., Ltd., and two casting pig iron enterprises, Linzhou Hexin Casting Industry Co., Ltd. and Linzhou Lingang Cast Pipe Technology Co., Ltd., with a pig iron production capacity of 2.92 million tons/year and a steelmaking capacity of 1.5 million tons/year. As a traditional pillar industry in Linzhou City, iron and steel enterprises have an important impact on the quality of the city's air environment while driving the development of the city's industrial economy.
Since 2020, Linzhou City has actively promoted the ultra-low emission transformation of iron and steel enterprises, and built a green steel enterprise in all aspects, the whole process and high standards. After more than 3 years of efforts, three iron and steel enterprises in Linzhou City have invested a total of 1.12 billion yuan and implemented a total of 110 environmental protection improvement projects, all of which have completed the transformation of organized and unorganized emissions and ultra-low emissions of clean transportation, and the concentration of nitrogen oxides emitted by various iron and steel enterprises is stably controlled below 30mg/m³, sulfur dioxide concentration is stably controlled below 20mg/m³, and soot concentration is stably controlled at 8mg/ Below m³, 122 tons of nitrogen oxides, 92.2 tons of sulfur dioxide, and 25.2 tons of particulate matter will be added every year on the basis of the original emission standards.
On the basis of actively promoting the ultra-low emission transformation of iron and steel enterprises, Linzhou City has further combined with the "double carbon" goal to guide iron and steel enterprises to simultaneously build a sintering machine flue gas circulation project, and the average flue gas circulation rate of the sintering machine has reached about 20%, reaching the advanced level of the industry, and has achieved obvious results in energy saving, carbon reduction and emission reduction. The carbon monoxide emission concentration of the sintering machine of each iron and steel enterprise has increased from 6000mg/m before3—8000mg/m3down to 3500mg/m3—4500mg/m3, reducing carbon monoxide emissions by more than 22,000 tons per year.
The ultra-low emission transformation of the steel industry in Linzhou has promoted the further improvement of atmospheric environmental indicators.
