The General Assembly of the Ecological Environment Standardization Technical Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was successfully held in Hohhot

On March 29, 2024, the general meeting of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Ecological Environment Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Ecological Environment Standardization Committee") was successfully held in Hohhot. Zhao Shide, member of the party group and deputy director of the Autonomous Region Department of Ecology and Environment, and chairman of the Autonomous Region Ecological Environment Standardization Committee, attended and addressed the conference. Leaders of the State Administration for Market Supervision of the Autonomous Region, the Department of Ecology and Environment of the Autonomous Region and other relevant departments, and all members of the Autonomous Region Ecological Environment Standardization Committee attended the meeting.

Zhao Shide, member of the party group and deputy director of the Autonomous Region Department of Ecology and Environment, and chairman of the Autonomous Region Ecological Environment Standardization Committee, delivered a speech for the conference, he pointed out that the standardization of the ecological environment should be closely related to the new situation of ecological environmental protection from pollution prevention and control to the construction of a beautiful China and the transformation and upgrading of the "big ecology", and promote the establishment of a complete system, reasonable structure, cohesion and support, scientific and rigorous ecological safety barrier standard system of the autonomous region, and give full play to the basic, safe, leading and strategic role of standardization in environmental management.

At the meeting, Mi Li, from the Standardization Department of the Autonomous Region Administration for Market Regulation, read out the approval document for the re-election and the list of members of the Ecological Environment Standardization Committee, and Yue Caiying, Secretary-General of the Ecological Environment Standardization Committee, introduced the work of the Committee in 2023. The meeting discussed and approved the "Articles of Association of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Ecological Environment Standardization Technical Committee" and the "Working Rules of the Secretariat of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Ecological Environment Standardization Technical Committee"; Experts from the Autonomous Region Administration for Market Regulation interpreted the "Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Local Standards Management Measures" and explained the autonomous region's local standard declaration process.

Under the new situation, the Autonomous Region Ecological Environment Standardization Committee will continue to promote the development of ecological environment standardization, focus on hot and difficult issues in the field of ecological environment, and strengthen research and innovation to comprehensively improve the ability and level of ecological environment standardization in the autonomous region in the construction of ecological safety barriers, biodiversity conservation, ecological protection and restoration, carbon peak and carbon neutrality, prevention and control of new pollutants and noise pollution, construction of "zero-waste cities", ozone control and other standardization work.
