Recently, Jiangning District, Nanjing City, held a five-day seminar on "Promoting the High-quality Development of the Ecological Environment" at the Party School of the District Party Committee. As an important arrangement of the 2023 region-wide cadre education and training plan, this training aims to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization and the spirit of the National Conference on Ecological and Environmental Protection, further improve the policy level and practical ability of Party members and leading cadres to promote the construction of ecological civilization and ecological environmental protection, and carry out in-depth learning and exchanges and discussions on promoting high-quality economic development with high-level protection of the ecological environment. The training course was organized and implemented by the Organization Department of the District Party Committee and the Jiangning Ecological Environment Bureau, and a total of 55 trainees participated in the training.

Focusing on "ecological priority and green development", the training set up important courses related to ecological environment, such as "Practicing Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization and Implementing the National Strategy for the Protection of the Yangtze River", "Carbon Emission Trading Practice and Compliance Management", "Bottleneck Problems and Coping Strategies for Comprehensive Treatment of Urban and Rural Water Environment", "Several Issues in Ecological and Environmental Damage Compensation Litigation", "Requirements and Paths for the Construction of "Zero-waste Cities" during the "14th Five-Year Plan" Period", etc. Necessary courses such as style construction are set up and taught by experts and scholars in related fields.
