In recent years, China's industrial Internet infrastructure has been continuously improved, integrated applications have been deepened and realized, and the construction of industrial ecology has accelerated.
At present, China's economic and social development is increasingly characterized by digitalization, and is entering a new stage with digital productivity as the main symbol. The Industrial Internet is the application and development of a new generation of information technology represented by the Internet in the industrial field. Through the comprehensive integrated application of the Internet of Things, big data, artificial intelligence, etc., and the deep integration of industrial manufacturing technology, the industrial Internet reshapes and reengineers R&D, production, management, service and other links, which not only improves the quality and efficiency of the industry itself, but also derives new formats and new models such as digital management, platform design, intelligent manufacturing, personalized customization, etc., and continues to promote industrial optimization and upgrading.
The wide application of new technologies such as digital twins, cyber-physical systems, and low-code has further promoted the integration and innovation of the industrial Internet in a wider range, deeper and higher level. At present, China has built nearly 10,000 digital workshops and smart factories, and the number of industrial equipment connections on key platforms has exceeded 89 million units (sets). According to the data released by the China Federation of Industrial Economics not long ago, the comprehensive index of industrial digital transformation evaluation of sample enterprises reached 62.7, and the readiness index of digital transformation reached 66.1. This shows that China's industrial Internet innovation and development and integrated application have achieved positive results, and the scale and development level of intelligent manufacturing applications have been rising.
At present, the industrial Internet has been fully integrated into 45 major categories of the national economy, and the industrial scale has exceeded the trillion yuan mark. After completing their own digital transformation, many large enterprises have transformed into platform service providers, driving small and medium-sized enterprises to carry out intelligent transformation. More and more small and medium-sized enterprises are also aware of the importance of digital transformation and have begun to spontaneously explore the construction of industrial Internet platforms. As the Industrial Internet accelerates from proof of concept to application, various functions and application scenarios are also expanding and deepening.
It should also be noted that there are still some shortcomings and weaknesses in China's industrial Internet. For example, the independent ability in the field of industrial control needs to be improved, high-end sensors, Internet of Things chips and other technologies are immature, standards and specifications are not sound, and the homogenization of solutions is more prominent. Some traditional industries have not yet found the path to the implementation of the industrial Internet, and the digital transformation process of small and medium-sized enterprises is relatively lagging behind. With the advent of the era of the Internet of Everything, the previously relatively closed industrial production system environment has been broken, and there is a risk of invasion, control and destruction of key production equipment, instruments and systems, and new security risks cannot be ignored.
To promote the accelerated development of the industrial Internet, it is necessary to strengthen the research of key core technologies, carry out engineering research around the shortcomings of the development of the industrial Internet, and improve the innovation and development capabilities of the platform; Cultivate platforms with strong technology research and development capabilities, market development capabilities and service support capabilities, promote platform interconnection and data sharing, and form a joint force for development; Accelerate the research and formulation of corresponding standards and norms, and strengthen the construction of the security system. Focusing on the future, we should continue to cultivate compound talents who have mastered the knowledge of traditional industrial fields and a new generation of information technology, so as to provide strong talent support for the industrial Internet.
