According to Zou Rong, co-director of the Shanghai Climate Week Executive Committee, vice president of the Shanghai Modern Service Industry Federation and director of the Low Carbon Economy Special Committee, the initiator of the "Shanghai Climate Week" initiative has been deeply engaged in the field of dual carbon and sustainable development for many years, and has held a number of international forums and summits on related topics. Mobilize the whole society to actively participate in addressing climate change. Based on this background, the Executive Committee of "Shanghai Climate Week" made a special report to the Office of China's Special Envoy on Climate Change and the competent government departments, communicated with relevant departments of the United Nations, a number of central state-owned enterprises, Fortune 500 enterprises, well-known private enterprises and social organizations, and communicated with top domestic universities and relevant overseas academic institutions, and determined the positioning and framework structure of "Shanghai Climate Week".
