The Environmental Protection Bureau of Puyang Economic and Technological Development Zone strictly controls data quality and standardizes the declaration of carbon emission data

 In order to promote the data reporting of non-electric industries such as chemical, papermaking, and petrochemical industries in the national carbon market, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment organized a training meeting on carbon emission data filling in non-electric industries (chemical, papermaking, and petrochemical) in 2023 on the morning of November 1. After the meeting, the Environmental Protection Bureau of Puyang Economic and Technological Development Zone immediately conveyed the spirit of the meeting, arranged the deployment of carbon emission data filling in the non-electric industry, and the deputy director in charge and the responsible comrades of the business guided the three non-electric industry enterprises in the jurisdiction to standardize the carbon emission data declaration work.

First, it is closely organized and carefully prepared. The Environmental Protection Bureau has strengthened its organization and leadership, set up a working group and a support group to standardize and guide the carbon emission declaration work, and ensure that the established tasks in our district are completed on time and with good quality. The second is true accounting and standardized reporting. The working group guides enterprises to start from the study of the current accounting plan of carbon emissions, carry out carbon emission mapping and prediction according to the data, preliminarily analyze the carbon emission level of enterprises, standardize the filling of data, ensure the authenticity and accuracy of data, realize the traceability of carbon emission data, and actively and orderly promote the expansion and efficiency of the national carbon market. The third is to strengthen learning and promote development. The business personnel involved conscientiously study the laws and regulations and carbon knowledge in the filling and verification of carbon emission data in the non-electric industry, strengthen the training of key enterprises in the zone, promote enterprises to improve the internal carbon emission management system, improve the quality of carbon emission data, control the emission reduction at the source, explore the new low-carbon development model of the Economic Development Zone, and provide case reference for realizing the synergy of pollution reduction and carbon reduction and building the implementation path of carbon emission reduction in the park.
