By 2025, Beijing will strive to achieve 10% of the heating area with new energy sources. The reporter learned from the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission today that recently, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Municipal Planning and Self-Commission and other ten departments have studied and formulated the "Implementation Opinions on Comprehensively Promoting the High-quality Development of New Energy Heating", and put forward work measures and support policies to promote the high-quality development of new energy heating.
The "Implementation Opinions" include seven parts: overall requirements, promoting multi-scenario applications, achieving diversified and orderly development, promoting industrial development and growth, comprehensively improving management levels, improving policy support, and safeguard measures. Among them, it is clear that the multi-scenario application of new energy heating will be promoted to realize the diversified and orderly development of new energy heating. By 2025, we will strive to account for 10% of the city's heating area with new energy heating, and by 2030, we will strive to account for 15% of the city's heating area.
Since Beijing launched the new energy heating support policy in 2019, the city's new energy heating has entered a period of rapid development, and a number of demonstration projects have been completed, such as the ground source heat pump heating (cooling) project of Beijing Daxing International Airport, the ground source heat pump heating (cooling) project of the administrative office area of Beijing sub-center, and the ground source heat pump heating (refrigeration) of the three major buildings of Beijing sub-center. By the end of 2022, the city's new energy heating area has reached 106 million square meters, which can replace about 800 million cubic meters of gas every year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1.7 million tons, with remarkable energy conservation and emission reduction effects.
