"Carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane, sulphur hexafluoride, nitrogen trifluoride, hydrofluorocarbons and perfluorocarbons are the seven internationally recognized greenhouse gas species. Luo Caihong, director of the Total and Emission Management Division (Climate Change Division) (hereinafter referred to as the Total Quantity Division) of the Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, introduced the national strategic actions on climate change and Chongqing's specific practices in simple terms from the background of climate change and the national carbon peak and carbon neutrality strategic deployment. In the participating enterprises, Chuanwei Chemical will produce acetylene by-product tail gas for the production of methanol, use by-product hydrogen resources to produce synthetic ammonia products, and "eat and squeeze out" the raw materials; Pure benzene and other products are then supplied to Zhengxin Rubber in the park as raw materials for the production of automotive tires, and pure benzene produced by Zuoneng Chemical is used as raw materials for BASF Polyurethane Chongqing Co., Ltd. for the production of MDI......
In addition, the Aggregate Division also introduced the carbon market, synergy of pollution reduction and carbon reduction, climate investment and financing to the participating enterprises, and interpreted the relevant policies of the state and Chongqing.
At the meeting, the Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment also presented the "Chongqing Carbon Q&A" and the "Chongqing Green and Low-Carbon Development Excellent Cases" workbook to the enterprises in the park, sending the knowledge and good experience and good practices of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality to the "home".
