In 2022, the city's comprehensive air quality index was 3.37, the ratio of good days was 86.8%, the PM2.5 concentration was 28 micrograms/cubic meter, and the ozone concentration was 160 micrograms/cubic meter, reaching the national second-level standard. In the case of a general rebound in regional air quality affected by continuous abnormal climate, Yuyao City won the battle to defend the blue sky, the ambient air quality continued to improve steadily, the six air quality indicators reached the national second-level standard for three consecutive years, and the provincial clean air demonstration zone was successfully established and consolidated.

From 2020 to 2022, the general industrial solid waste in Yuyao City showed an overall trend of first increasing and then decreasing, with a decrease of 5.72% in 2022. General industrial solid waste is basically fully utilized.
3. "Five water co-governance" to polish the "clean" and "green" background of the whole ecological environment

Fifth, the restoration and improvement of ecosystems have been accelerated, and the carbon sink capacity of forestry has been continuously enhanced. To protect and restore the mountain ecology, a total of 7,909 acres of land greening will be added from 202 to 2022, and by the end of 2022, the city will have a total of 568,000 acres of ecological public welfare forests and 176,000 acres of expanded areas.
