Hangjin Houqi resolutely implements the concept of ecological priority and green development, encourages farmers to carry out the resource utilization of domestic garbage, agricultural and forestry straw, waste residual film, breeding manure and other wastes, and promotes industrial ecology and ecological industrialization by turning blockage into sparseness and waste into treasure, creating a strong atmosphere of low-carbon and circular development in the whole banner, and making "Hangzhou Hou's contribution" to the construction of an important ecological security barrier in northern China. 　　

"Straw becomes hot" to promote green and low-carbon development.Hangjin Houqi is a typical agricultural banner, rich in crop straw resources, but straw burning will pollute the atmosphere, straw returning to the field will produce pests and diseases, straw disposal problems have been bothering farmers. In 2018, Hangjin Houqi adopted the model of "government guidance + market operation" to introduce and build the Hanglong biomass cogeneration project, forming a one-stop industrial chain of straw purchase, processing and sales. The company annually purchases and consumes 300,000 tons of straw biomass fuels such as corn straw, sunflower straw, corn cobs, and waste tree branches, replaces 125,000 tons of standard coal, and reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 210,000 tons, which is equivalent to planting 17.5 million trees every year and generating 210 million kWh of electricity annually, directly driving the employment of 380 people and indirectly driving the employment of more than 3,000 farmers and herdsmen in the surrounding areas, and purchasing more than 9,000 yuan of agricultural and forestry waste in the surrounding areas to help more than 1,000 farmers increase their income. In 2023, the total sown area of crops in the whole banner will be 1,458,600 mu, which can produce about 670,000 tons of straw, transforming straw from "farmland waste" into a new raw material for fuel utilization, and the straw utilization rate will reach 91%, achieving a win-win situation of ecological, economic and social benefits.

"Manure into fertilizer" to promote resource recycling.In 2020, Hangjin Houqi vigorously implemented the dairy industry revitalization strategy and started the construction of an ecological dairy park with 100,000 dairy cows. At present, there are 56,000 dairy cows in the park, with a daily milk output of 665 tons, driving the employment of more than 1,000 people; the park produces about 2,200 tons of manure per day, and has built a manure drying platform of 123,000 square meters, an oxidation pond of 254,000 cubic meters, a supporting rate of 100% of manure treatment facilities, and a comprehensive utilization rate of 93% of manure; the centralized sewage treatment plant has completed civil engineering, and plans to start construction of an organic fertilizer production project in 2024. Promote the utilization of manure resources by means of manure fertilizer, and realize the reduction of chemical fertilizer in the surrounding cultivated land. According to statistics, the cultivated land with organic fertilizer is about 30% per mu, the yield is increased by more than 15%, and the income per mu is increased by about 400 yuan.

"Garbage conversion" to promote the improvement of the ecological environment.In 2020, Hangjin Houqi introduced the Sichuan Energy Domestic Waste Incineration Power Generation Project, which started construction in March 2022 and was put into operation in December 2022, undertaking the harmless treatment of domestic waste in four banner counties and districts of Linhe District, Hangjin Houqi, Dengkou County and Urad Houqi. The project is equipped with one 700t/d mechanical grate, incineration boiler and waste heat boiler, one 18MW steam turbine generator set, and adopts the advanced technology of "SNCR furnace denitrification + semi-dry deacidification + dry lime injection + activated carbon adsorption + bag dust collector", and the flue gas emission index reaches the ultra-low emission standard; At the same time, the project uses the calorific value of waste incineration to generate electricity, which reduces the energy consumption and environmental pollution caused by coal-fired power generation, and conforms to the principle of "reduction, recycling, and harmlessness" of domestic waste treatment. Up to now, the total amount of domestic waste has entered the site of 190,000 tons, and the power generation has reached 72.2 million kWh, and after it is fully put into operation in 2024, it is expected to process 220,000 tons of garbage and generate 83 million kWh of electricity annually, with an average annual income of about 59 million yuan, and an annual tax of about 6.4 million yuan, driving more than 100 jobs.
