The chemical chain combustion pilot plant was designed by Dongfang Boiler in cooperation with Tsinghua University, TotalEnergies and the French Petroleum Research Institute. The device allows the fuel and air to be in direct contact during the combustion process, and uses the circulation of oxygen carrier particles between the two fluidized beds of the air reactor and the fuel reactor to transport oxygen, so as to directly obtain flue gas with high concentration of carbon dioxide. This technology can reduce the power supply efficiency loss caused by carbon dioxide capture from more than 10 percentage points to less than 4 percent, and in addition to carbon dioxide capture, it can also be extended to chemical chain gasification, which is expected to eliminate the air separation system and greatly reduce the investment and operating costs of gasification.
3. Sichuan released the list of the first batch of provincial-level energy-saving and carbon-reduction benchmarking enterprises

On April 19, 2023, 17 departments (units) of Sichuan Province jointly issued the first provincial-level action plan in the country after the release of the new version of the National Climate Change Adaptation Strategy - the Sichuan Provincial Action Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change.
